Live life to the full!
Markus Torgeby is the promising runner who dumped his coach and got off the treadmill. He was inspired by Frans G Bengtsson’s translation of Thoreau’s Walden; or, Life in the Woods, headed for Jämtland and lived in a hut for four years.
He continued his training there, but in his own way. Then he spent six months in Tanzania and trained with the world’s leading marathon runners. Today he is a unique, inspirational speaker, running coach and conveyer of pure joy!
Marcus’s lectures focus on what happens to a person who has the courage to take his or her own path. What happens when someone rejects the notion of being constantly connected and what power can be harnessed from tranquillity and nature? Markus is currently writing a book about his life and how to live life to the full. It will be published in 2015.
